Meet the Makers

Jennifer

Meet one of the founding members, Jennifer. Small business means you wear many hats and this is exactly her role as woodworker, designer, marketer, and bookkeeper.

Jennifer grew up in Washington and has roots to Skagit County through graduating BEHS and Skagit Valley College in administration and accounting. She has worked many jobs in support of her family from food, to managing retail, to office management, to surgery scheduling. One theme remained clear to her that corporate life was not her calling and she began planning a career as an entrepreneur.

She is a wife to a very giving and hardworking husband and a mom to two sons, two daughters, three dogs, and one parrot. They enjoy camping, hiking, sports, arts, board games, music, and all other quality family time. She volunteers with the Sedro Woolley Chamber of Commerce; and has volunteered with Heart-to-Heart Charity, Relay for Life of the American Cancer Society, Rainbow Alliance, Kohl’s Cares for Kids, YMCA, PTA, and more.

She values hard work, equality, volunteerism, repurposing, and creativity. She thought what better people to partner with than her best friend and sister who also hold these values and have aided her journey already. And so Pacific Northwest Charm was born with the concept of bringing what you enjoy into your aesthetic through custom and hand crafted art, gifts, and décor.

Stephanie

Stephanie grew up in Washington state and graduated with a degree in auto mechanics from Green River College, and early childhood education at SVC. Stephanie is a USMC veteran, mechanic, teacher, caregiver, and a step-mom to an amazing autistic child. Her passion for awareness was ignited through love.

Each career has had an impact in her first love: art. She was self taught until high school where she took floral design and ceramics. She continued her love of art as electives in college and in her free time doing DIY projects for her nieces, nephews, and home. She has continued her passion for art and decorating when helping found PNW Charm. Many of the hand painted backgrounds for custom art come from her artistic eye. She loves sharing a new design and reworking it to fit customer’s homes and individual styles.

Crystal

Meet one of the founding members, Crystal. She grew up in Washington state in Snohomish County and moved with her husband to Skagit County to grow her little family. She is a mom to two kids and one pup. Crystal is also a bus driver for the Mount Vernon School District. She is dedicated, hard working, meticulous, and the friend you wish you had found sooner. She’s an advocate for social justice and equality, and values hard work. Many of the typeface and macrame designs are done by her.
